Smadar Shulman is Head of Fixed Income Core and ESG Indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). She is responsible globally for product management and strategy across the suite of core and ESG/SRI bond index product range.

Smadar Shulman is Head of Fixed Income Core and ESG Indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). She is responsible globally for product management and strategy across the suite of core and ESG/SRI bond index product range.
She has 20 years of experience in the field of indices, starting her career at Lehman Brothers. Before S&P DJI, she was managing director at IHS Markit, leading iBoxx fixed income indices product management in EMEA, a role she held for seven years. Prior to that, she was a director at Barclays Index and Portfolio analytics business, working in a variety of roles including index research and sales.
Ms. Shulman holds a first-class honours degree from London School of Economics and Political Science and an Executive MBA with distinction from the Cass Business School, London City University, U.K., with her thesis focused on the U.K. robo-advice market. She also served in the Israeli Air Force.
